Platform Lace Bootie
I thought it would be a nice change to purchase something that was different so I decided to buy a quaint pastel ankle boot like this one. Yes they're Jeffrey Campbell inspired and they are comfortable as well and have the 2 inch platform. I was afraid that they wouldn't match anything I had or if I had to buy an entire ensemble of pastel colored clothing but they seem to match simple clothing like a neutral dress. They're so worth it and I recieved so many compliments when I wore these out.
Mary Jane Curved Wedge
Okay you're probably wondering how do you walk in those!?. Haha I love these shoes! They're very scientific because they feel just like regular wedges! And again yes they're inspired by Jeffrey Campbell's Nightwalk shoe but most of you probably already know that because I made a previous post about me debating on whether to buy them or not. My boyfriend said these looked "hideous". That's one of my favorite qualities about him. He's honest, but once I wore the shoes he said: "It looks terrible by itself but it actually looks interesting on a person". And I agree! They are very interesting and definitely a conversation starter.
These were so inexpensive. I think they were only $13. I figured why not since they're flats and I could wear them everyday. A worthy investment indeed. I've worn them three days in a row now and they're really comfortable. I'm fond of the studded detail this shoe offers. Perfect for everyday and to spice a boring outfit up.
Floral Print Ankle Boots
Sigh I'm not sure if I should have gotten these or not. They're very very nice to look at but I'm afraid they are simply difficult to pair with anything. I'm not sure if they are worth it or not.. oh well maybe perhaps an epiphany will occur in me and I'll make these lovelies shine. The weird thing is even if they are a knockoff the print looks EXACTLY like one of Jeffrey Campbell's prints. For $169 of course and with a black heel. To be honest I prefer the brown wooden heel so much more.
